
Target 200 restrictions
SEQ
Now that combined dam levels for SEQ have exceeded 50%, the region has moved from High Level Restrictions and Target 170 to Medium Level Restrictions and Target 200. This applies to Brisbane City, Ipswich City, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Moreton Bay Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council.
Redland City Council, Scenic Rim and Sunshine Coast Regional Councils
Target 200 and Medium Level Restrictions will commence for residents of Redland City Council, Scenic Rim and Sunshine Coast Regional Councils on on 1 July 2009. Compliance measures for non-residential users commenced on 30 March 2009.
Gold Coast
Gold Coast City Council area is on suspended restrictions for a range of outdoor water uses but non-residential restrictions still apply.
Business restrictions
Business and industry, government and other large (non-residential) users of water need to conserve water supplies by using less and being more efficient water users. Water restrictions apply to all businesses - read the current business restrictions.

Overview
Medium Level Restrictions allow for extra water use outdoors and a water consumption target of 200 litres per person per day. Specifically:
- Use of a single hand held hose (with twist/ trigger nozzle) for two 30 minute periods on allocated days to:
- water gardens
- wash cars
- undertake general outdoor cleaning, such as wash houses and hose outdoor areas other than paths and driveways
- Use of a bucket to:
- water gardens between 4pm and 8am on any day except Monday
- clean outdoors at any time
- Use of efficient irrigation systems to water gardens
